The SPA can issue formal warnings to parolees who are at risk of having their parole revoked for failing to comply with their conditions.
These warnings assist Community Corrections officers with effective case management by emphasising the need to comply with the conditions of the parole order and all the directions of the supervising officer.
When a warning is issued by the SPA, parolees are directed in writing to speak with their supervising officer and reminded if they continue failing to comply with their order they face having their parole revoked and a return to custody.
