Varying Parole Orders

Legislation allows the SPA to vary conditions on a parole order.

Any variation of the parole order can happen before release from custody or while a parolee is being supervised on parole.

Community Correction Officers, parolees, or their legal representatives, can make a request to the SPA for any changes.

Before approving any variation, the SPA must consider the appropriateness of any change and be satisfied that it better assists with the supervision of a parolee.
